Emperors Update May 2007
The club has been able to record at least one win in each grade so far. The victories from the various grades include the following;
Atoms v Penrith Phantoms
Peewee v Canterbury Eagles
Bantam v Penrith Phantoms
Midget v Central Coast Cyclones
Senior C v Canterbury Falcons
This is a great achievement on behalf of all players, coaches and committee members. Our aim is to be the best club in Australia and we are well on our way to achieving this and we ask that you all continue to help and support each other as we progress through the season.
Supporter Gear
Are you interested in supporting our club? We have just placed an order for some supporter caps and we hope to take delivery of these on 29th May. These will made available hopefully on Tuesday night practice. We are also in the process of designing some T-shirts so be prepared to start collecting your Emperors supporter wear. I will have more news on this when it comes to hand.
Team Uniforms
We expect to take final delivery of all remaining player jerseys on Wednesday 23rd May. For all further order in the future, we expect to have them delivered within 4 weeks, so, for all you supporters, if you are interested in getting your hands on an authentic Emperors players jersey, place your order with the club. All Jerseys are $100.
SIA Hockey Gear Sale
We wish to advise that there is still plenty of gear on sale the Sydney Ice Arena at never to be repeated prices. Youth Kits from $170 for the anxious beginner and plenty of shins, shoulders and elbows for the advanced. Jerseys from $59, senior sticks from $50, pants from as low as $100. Ice Time Confirmation
We have hopefully finalised our training schedule until we meet those play offs, so please ensure you are up to date with the practice times.
Atoms/Peewee 7pm - 815pm
Bantams/midget and senior grades will be on a rotation system whereby all teams will get a share of the full ice every third week. Schedules will be available on the website. Download it today.
Newcastle Atoms Tournament
The Emperors Atoms have been invited to attend an all Atom tournament to be held in Newcastle on the 14th and 15th of July. This should be a great weekend for all hockey lovers. Also note that there is an AIHL game scheduled on Sunday 15th from 5.45pm between Central Coast Rhinos and Newcastle North stars. This weekend is going to be a blast.
